it worked. i damaged the seal area on the crankshaft i first try sand it back with [****] sandpaper and it leaked so don't waste your time get the correct sleeve install and forget. my torque converter is still leaking after changing the seal. the converter shaft may be worn after 25 years so i may need to put a sleeve on that.
